Three winners on stage

The young company Slapstack optimises floor block storage with the help of an AI-supported solution that combines master control, warehouse management and simulation. Automation and intelligent algorithms reduce intralogistics costs by up to 70 per cent and significantly increase efficiency, explained CTO Alexandru Rinciog. The start-up is able to significantly reduce the otherwise very high set-up costs and duration.
In order to operate e-trucks, haulage companies at best have a charging infrastructure in their own depot as well as additional reliable charging points along the route. Avalon Solutions aims to solve this challenge with its software. According to Co-Founder and Managing Director Niklas Rapp, automated charging planning and control in the depot saves on personnel resources and reduces energy costs. The start-up's software is already being used by a number of customers, which in turn has enabled further process improvements to be identified.
Elzbieta Wiankowska, COO & Co-Founder of Loady, began her presentation by explaining that her topic was rather boring: standards. However, these are extremely important, especially in logistics. ‘You can't automate a process if you don't have a good standard,’ explained Wiankowska. Loady aims to revolutionise digital collaboration in supply chain logistics by making loading and unloading requirements available in a centralised and standardised way. With the help of API interfaces, user-specific views in twelve languages and precise geodata, the start-up wants to enable a smooth first and last mile in industrial transport. (fw)
