An expert forum on AutoID and transport logistics is taking place today. It will focus on new aspects and practical examples of the digitalisation of logistics in general and transport logistics in particular on the way to Logistics 4.0 and Industry 4.0. Automatic identification (AutoID) systems such as Optical Readable Media, Radio Frequency Identification, Near Field Communication and Real-Time Locating Systems as well as intelligent sensors and sensor networks are the basis for digitalisation processes and uniform communication between man, machine and object.
